AWFC Crossover Games with AIFA Assigned

AWFC Schedule & AIFA Partnership

The American West Football Conference (AWFC) season is scheduled to kick off Saturday, March 25, 2022, with the Oregon High Desert Storm hosting the Cali Gold of the American Arena League (AAL).  The Cali Gold has agreed to compete against all the member teams of the AWFC in 2023, traveling to all the Pacific Northwest venues.

With our ongoing partnership with the American Indoor Football Alliance (AIFA), the two leagues have made the decision to play crossover games filling in the AWFC schedule due to the loss of the Tri-City Rush football organization. In 2023, the following AIFA teams will participate in the two leagues' cross-over games.

Las Vegas Kings

Mississippi Raiders

Capital City Cyclones

Texas Pride

The remaining AIFA teams are not scheduled to play an AWFC team during the 2023 regular season.  

Columbus Lions

South Florida Thunder

Carolina Predators

Dallas Falcons

The two leagues are in talks about the logistics of an AWFC Champion vs the AIFA Champion.  Stay tuned for more information and the league season schedule!
